Friedensreich Hundertwasser
Ein Sonntagsarchitekt
Gebaute Träume und Sehnsüchte
19. 11. 2005 - 05. 02. 2006
DAM, Frankfurt/M DE

Constructed Dreams and Longings
He loved spirals and curved lines, despised straight lines and right angles. As such it is ironic that the DAM of all places, the museum Oswald Mathias Ungers built on a square grid, should host an exhibition featuring buildings by Hundertwasser alongside numerous paintings with architectural subjects. And it is unlikely that the man from Vienna, who died in 2000, would have agreed to it.
