Konzern entschuldigt sich. Bereits verkaufte CDs werden umgetauscht.

„An unsere werten Kunden“ beginnt das Schreiben, mit dem sich Sony BMG nach anfänglicher Trotzphase –Tonspion berichtete – nun doch für den umstrittenen und mittlerweile auch als Sicherheitsrisiko eingestuften XPC-Kopierschutz bei allen CD-Käufern entschuldigte. Doch wirkliche Entschuldigungen sehen anders aus und alle Probleme sind damit noch lange nicht aus der Welt.
