: Festival d'Automne

The biggest artistic festival in Paris celebrates its 35th anniversary. From September to December the festival presents numerous productions - from opera and theatre up to film and dance. This year's program includes the artists Tony Morrison, William Forsythe, Robert Wilson, Carl Craig, Jeff Mills, Drew Baker and many more.

The Paris Autumn Festival was created in 1972 by Michel Guy, Georges Pompidou's Minister of Culture. The Festival d'Automne rapidly became a crossroads for avant-garde and forward-looking artistic creation. The Festival draws large audiences and stimulates wide public interest. :: UH
